Anyone know what a 340 2006~2007 is actually selling for. I know the 2008 list is around 280K WO any options new and someone had mentioned about getting 22% off MSRP on new Sundancers.

Thanks,

Mike

I like going to boattraderonline.com and you can plug in the make model and years you are interested.. I do a nationwide search, as prices really vary and with the internet today and transportation not a problem, you can find a great deal in area's you might not even think about.

Jeff - Sea Ray does offer significant incentives beyond published incentives to help a dealer get a boat out of inventory. S-R brought money into my boat deal.

In the southeast region which includes Florida, there were a total of eight 2006 and no 2007 340's sold from Jan 07 through March 08.
Sold prices ranged from. 169,900 to 198,000

I have heard from several recent buyers (not 340, but bigger) that a good deal on a current year new SR will be 35% of MSRP after all options then 10% off that number then 5% of that price. Rember to include winter storage and spring launch (spell it out in the contract) that will almost always be given and is worth another 5k at least. Good Luck!

If you want the boat do as Frank keeps saying. Write YOUR offer, with out regard to the asking price, and a big check. You never know who will say yes. Do not get discouraged if you are turned down. The boat will be there later this summer for a lower offer that might just be accepted. If not it is only a boat.

Even though I got a short stick from a broker a couple of weeks ago I am not letting that get me down. I already have a target picked out for later in the summer. The brokers are just too excited about the upcoming big sales that summer brings, not goint to happen this year. When their enthusiam wanes I will be back in the game.

Good Luck

Stay in the game remeber sea ray is currently layiny off 300 employees in meritt island fla and is shuting down production in June all together. Times are bad and its a buyers market. Remember to include winter lay up and spring launch for a 340 thats at least 5k.
