I have a rare 100% freshwater 2001 340 Amberjack with 3126 CAT diesels. Love the boat! My question is, given the rarity of the model, can anyone recommend a source for replacement carpating for the outside deck areas? My boat has 4 distinct pieces (helm, walkway, aft and baitwell). I would love to be able to replace all of them with exact replacements. Thank you!

The best thing to do is to get them made to your specs/measurements. Some companies will have the pattern, but there is always the chance that the pattern is wrong since most patterns are provided by the owner's of the boat and they CAN be wrong. So what you do is to order their printed template (full size). Lay it out. If you like it, go ahead and pick what type/style/color carpet you want and order. If it's not quite right, use a Sharpie and make changes right on the template and send it back. Get the revised template to double check.

You might consider the newer vinyl carpets.

Corinthian Marine is a great company to deal with and I think they are a sponsor here. Snap In is another option.

Many thanks!
Yes, I have already been contacted by a representative from Corinthian Marine.
The biggest problem is due to the rarity of the boat, there are basicaly no templets to work with.
I will need to measure once I'm able to reach my boat in the warehouse.
Again thank you for your response!

snapincarpet.com is also a great source. I believe they'll send you a kit to make your own template. It's not overly complicated, it's just a bit of time spent on your hands and knees cutting out the material.

Yer welcome!

If they don't have a printed template, then just order the clear templating material. Cut it out slightly oversize and cut a few small holes in various spots to tape it down to get it from moving. Use the Sharpie and draw your lines where you want the the carpet(s) to be.

I have done this twice...got to HD and buy a roll of the heaviest(thickest mil) they have. Grab two sharpie markers and some painters tape as well. Using the plastic, make your own templates. Cut the pieces out and Corinthian will make them identical to what you send them. Pull the snaps out of your floor and fill the holes with Marine Tex. Corinthian can sew in round velcro dots and they work perfectly! You can change the shapes of the pieces if you want and I liked most the ability to make it "wall to wall" and eliminate the cracks between the walls and floor.
