I recently purchased a 2008 330 Dancer with Premium Stereo system which has surround sound in the cabin for DVD. Interesting though is the cabin speakers do not run with the cockpit speakers so there's now way I can listen to Sirius radio or anything else the Clarion system runs. Makes it very inconvenient when bedding down at night and not being able to listen to a radio. The cabin is an Alpine system with DVD so that DVD's play in surround sound but the nice 26" TV is not hooked into the system and only plays through the TV speakers.
Furthermore, neither radio has an FM antenna so I can't even listen to local FM stations in the cockpit or the cabin.

So I guess my question for my fellow Sea Ray owners is.....
Am I expecting to much to want to be able to listen to the same sound (Sirius, CD's FM )in the cabin that plays in the cockpit or
wanting to watch TV in surround sound or
wanting to listen to FM radio in the cabin?????

Nope...for that money it should be as you say..

I bet it wouldn't be hard for a stereo guy to hook you up right though.

You don't mention the rest of the boat. Outside of the sound system, are you content with your boat?

You might want to have somebody look at the speakers in the cockpit arch while your at it. Mine were open air in the arch...thus letting much of the sound disappear into the darkness. Some insulation stuff thats costs way too much is the answer.

a good sound guy can - and you can also too- figure this one out, I know I have my Bose system and my Cockpit Clarion "talking" by running an audio out (RCA plugs) into the back of my Clarion using an AUX jack plugs on the Clarion, you just need the "reverse" if you want the Clarion to go to an audio in on your system below. Just start taking the thing apart and pull some audio cable with a fish tape (or coat hanger). Remember, to push thru a string "messenger" any time you do this for any future pulls.
