330 97 Sundancer - Stern side exhausts gelcoat cracking??

Hi all,

I searched as best I could but I don't know the exact wording to call it.. SO I will try to describe it.

But while looking around the hull I noticed that both of the exhaust ports.. (I know they are not exhaust ports because the boat has underwater exhaust, these are the ports right above the water line) Both have gelcoat cracks and are raised outward from the hull..

As near as I can figure these are outlets for water, don't know if its for the engines, genny ? But the gel coat round them is cracked and raised.

I am sure others will chime in. But I have seen cracks in many of the boats that exhaust set up that way. Most likely cosmetic.

I'd worry more about the cost of new canvas-especially if it has a camper back--$$$$$$.

Full set of canvas should still be available from Great Lakes. I ordered a new top from them last year. Price was one half to one third of the other quotes.
