You have to remove panels to pull wire each step from the top of the arch, and remove access panels, the speaker and remove the seat back to get to the other piece and then run along the side into the cabin.
Hey , I've done this you have to remove the vinyl covered panel( starboard side) above the seat on the bottom of arch wall it pulls off , then at the helm the speaker and compartment come out giving you a good access point to the back of the dash for power or mounting devices under the helm p.s if you remove the speaker on the arch this gives you another point to pull from
One of the best things you can do to make future installs easier is to leave a string or wire in place to fish future wiring through. I have string in several places (flybridge to lower helm, Arch to bridge, etc) and I cannot tell you how much easier it is to install new electronics or wiring..........
