My 320 with 350 Merc horizons has an overspeed alarm on the port engine. Was coming out of WOT toward idle and got overspeed alarm at 2500rpm...silenced but alarms again at 1500rpm..all other indications are normal..any help?

IIRC you will get the overspeed when RPMs are too high in neutral.

Both times I received this I moved the gear shift to neutral without first reducing throttle to idle. If you didn’t move the gear shift, on purpose or accidentally, then maybe that other thread will help out.
