Good afternoon

I have a 2006 Sea Ray Sundancer 320 and the boat lists to starboard quite a bit (almost to the boot stripe). I didn't notice it when I first bought it and the only thing I can think of is that the yard that maintains the boat did put in new batteries which are located on the starboard side. Both fuel tanks were topped off and the water tank on the port side is full as well as the holding tank about half also located on the port side.

Any suggestions ?

Batteries wouldn’t do it. If you and guest go to port, does it list to port or just balance out? How many people on the port side does it take to even out? Check the seat storage, is there something extremely heavy in the compartments? All the seating is on the port side, but I cannot imagine what would be in there that weighs 300-500 pounds causing it to list like that. Check inside as well.
OR, is it only listing while underway at high speeds (17+knots)? If that is the case, take a look at your trim tabs, make sure port is not stuck in the down position. Of course, if someone installed a new transmission/adjusted it to not run in reverse*, and switched a prop out so you have 2 LH or 2 RH props, it would list underway but not when engines are off.
*My assumption is Mercruiser engines both rotate in the same direction, but one transmission runs in reverse so that props counter rotate.

Thank you,

The boat lists to starboard when at the dock, no problem when underway.
I've had a lot of boats and never one this size that leans this much.

Can't figure it out.

Really appreciate your reply.....

Thank you

I topped off the tanks a few times and it still lists to starboard when at the dock

I am having issues with the fual gauges as well, but even they show readings that look correct, I'm never sure.

Appreciate the reply and welome greeting...

Is there any water in the bilge? If not my next thought is that there is NOT actually fuel in the port tank even though you believe there is.

Only time my 320 listed was when I pulled all four batteries out. Sounds odd and not a common thing.
