Do any of you know of any non-CAT/Raycor filters that are compatible to the 1R0751 fuel filter and the 1169924 oil filter?

Thanks.

I have to ask why?

The regular Caterpillar filters are almost always cheaper than aftermarket . If cost is an issue try buying Cat filters from a Cat dealer who is not on the water and specializes in trucks or construction equipment.

As far a Racor elements are concerned, try these folks:

Their Aquabloc Racors are under $7 and I doubt you will beat that with aftermarket.

Aside from cost, the Cat filters are a high efficiency fuel filter that traps @ 2 microns without impeding flow. The Racor elements are treated to repel water so that you catch the water in the Racor canister rather than passing it on.........The combination of Racor primary and Cat high efficiency secondary is a very hard one to beat. I'd be careful about moving away from what we know works extremely well.

Frank,

Thanks very much for the reply. To answer the question "Why?", I simply wanted to know if there was anything equivalent / better and cheaper on the market that someone else might know about. If we never ask, we never learn. Right?
