310 Sundancer Thread (2007 & newer)

Yes, and on the new models with the wood floor, its still carpet right on the edge, the wood doesn't go all the way to the edge, I am planning on finishing it the same way or using a piece of trim to cover the end, I haven't decided yet. I am looking at two products Amitco and Nautikflor. I was hoping someone here would know how bad the fiberglass is under the carpet.

Can Anyone with a Koehler genset tell me if they have a grate on the bottom of the thruhull. If yes is it cupped like the ac one. I don't have one and want to add one, I sucked up some seaweed on the hook last summer and had a terrible night with no ac. I Am worried that the cupped one may force water somewhere it is not supposed to go. I called the Koehler tech line and was transferred several times with no answer. Thanks

Kohler explicitly recommends against the use of any "speed scoop" or "cup design" intake due to the positive pressure being sufficient to cause water ingestion via the exhaust path while underway (impeller deflects to allow water to bypass).

The do allow a "slotted", "perforated" or unrestricted hole design (which is what my boat has).

Has anyone replaced the upholstery around the arch side speaker or know a good way to clean it?

Mine had gotten a bit dirty especially from the cockpit cover. I removed mine (it is attached via hook/loop) and I usually clean with Tilex. However, as a disclaimer, please be cautious! Tilex can discolor certain fabrics. I then reattached using new 3M Dual Lock. (Which is what I believe SeaRay had used to attach in the factory). Hope this helps. Mike

I cleaned mine with a pressure washer. Just don't get too close obviously.

I'm looking at nautikfloor too but haven't yet received a call back. I ordered some samples of this plasteak product... https://www.plasteak.com/plasteak-r...-flooring/ez-boat-sole-interior-boat-flooring.

It seems to deal a bit with the uneven floor issue by adding a foam layer to the backing.

suddenly both of my TV have stopped to power up - all outlet work fine and the tv powers up if i plug it on an external outlet, it seems like both of the outlet inside the closet where the TV were attached do not get power. i replaced the outlets and yet no power.

does anybody have any idea?

should i drop investigating this and buy an inverter? any recommendations?

thx
andi

Make sure the outlet isn't tripped. Besides the breaker, there's a reset button on the GFCI outlet nearest the breaker box and next to the RCA inputs. Just press the square button in until it clicks, I suspect that's the problem.

My vessel view has a constant alarm that says "throttle control", it only happens when the engines are running and in neutral. The boat will go into both forward and reverse and turn the props, I can also rev the engine up in neutral and alarm goes off. I also turned off. It's batteries and waited a minute before restarting and same alarm, it is a constant alarm.I am worried about leaving the dock, anyone have any ideas. It's a 2008 6.2 vdrives with DTS

I had to bring it to Sea Ray, they had to replace the entire throttle body unit under the spark arrestor, cost $1,500

I have fresh water getting into the compartment under the steps, it is not coming from the shower sump box, and ideas? It happens when we use the shower but the box isn't leaking, it doesn't show up until the next day, I clean it up and it remains dry until I run the boat, then a little bit more shows up.

Interestingly, I think I have a similar issue...also only happens hours/days after a shower use. I'm beginning to think that the shower compartment along the caulked walk seam or drain fitting is leaking due to age/deteriorated caulk. This leaked water must then eventually make it's way slowly to the mid-bilge compartment where the shower box/sump lives. My initial plan is to pull the carpeted "baseboard" surrounding the shower and see what's visible beneath the shower liner...?

Anyone have a specific model LED replacement for the recessed over the couch lights? Everyone I have tried is too wide or the pins are not long enough.

MarineBeam has the extra long pin G4 led bulbs. I put the 9-bulb model in my exact same fixtures.

I had the same problem, it soaked up all carpet in the aft cabin and into the hardwood floor. You may want to take apart the shower where shower handle is...big oval shape. The t where the hot and cold come to the pipe before enter the showerhead hose was cracked. It took me months to figure that out, hope that helps. I'll post pics if I can find any!

How did you pull that fixture out of the ceiling, I've got the same style light? I've tried pulling and tugging at the ring till my finger almost bled. I am now down 2 lights and want to fix this asap

thanks ZZ13 thats a big help, and Ethan's tank - they are spring loaded so pull on outer most ring straight down and the spring clips will fold up as you pull it down. just be careful it doesnt snag on the headliner.
