Has anyone ever had this problem?
When under power, at any rpm, my port engine alarm sounds intermittently, and sometimes the engine hesitates for a split second. It almost seems like the engine misses, and tells the alarm to sound, but it literally happens for a split second. No gauges drop or move (oil pressure, rpm, etc). Could this be an electrical problem? The engines run and sound great.
Thanks

I have a 83 310 and I had problems with the big 8 wire plug sitting to the left side of each motor. What I found is over time the inside of the rubber allows corrosion to enter and you may have a bad connection there. I cut all the wires away from the plug and used butt connectors that had heat shrinking tubes on the ends. I no longer have problems. Good luck.
