I'm trying to help out a slip buddy.
His rig is a, 2000 310DA - 496 BIII's.
The question of the day is; can you remove the blackwater tank level sensor without removing the tank from the boat. It looks pretty tight if the stems on the level switchs are not flexible.....
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

I'll probably resort to that soon. There is not much height to work with, but I expect to tip the cap and draw out the stems on an angle. I will be cautious not to tear off any of the connectors. Sorry, no first hand experience yet.

I added a Tankwatch on my freshwater and I believe the black water uses similar probes with a different sender. They are flexible enough to be able to install at an angle. How much will depend on the clearance you have now.

Sea Ray almost always leave enough room to replace sensor/floats
(they break often)
They may be part of cabinet, inspection plate or something similar to be removed to gain better access to sender
