I've got a 91 310/330 sundancer which from searay came with a whopping two speakers in the cockpit. I've already started upgrading to a fusion head unit and remote. For a temporary solution I made a couple of speaker boxes to hide under the seats until I was ready to start some cutting.

Well, now that the season is coming to an end I'm ready to install things more permanently. Other than the arch where have you put speakers on this model? The sides are all wrapped in vinyl so I'm looking for some pictures before I get to cutting. My current plan was to mount the amps under the captains seat but would also like to see what's been done with that as well.

Currently looking to install 2-8" rounds, 4-6" rounds and a 10" sub.

For the size of this boat there is minimal storage or access to the side panels.

I'd think two in the arch and two "in the walls" up closer the helm/cabin door would be a good start. That's all I've ever had and it's more than enough volume/sound quality for the casual listener.

JL 6.5" are great speakers. I think Wetsounds also makes some nice marine gear.

That's the basic plan, I'm just trying to see if anyone has put them in other locations since the available space is limited

I have 2 on each side plus 2 cans on the arch. 2 subs

Having upgraded the speakers on my boat, a couple of points. Each of these boats are a little different so even if somebody was able to put speakers in a certain location, doesn't mean they will fit on your boat, or even side to side especially in the arch. For example, antenna hardware and small location differences made my radar arch speaker upgrade much more difficult than planned, even though I measured (alot)!

Once you have the general location mapped out, do your best to measure behind or drill some small pilot holes to measure the available depth, and be prepared to add trim rings to accommodate. I used Frank at Trimmed Out Inc. --> https://www.trimmedoutinc.com/

Mine had a single speaker in the arch so I made new panels and recovered in new white vinyl as the old ones had some grill cloth material.

I also added 2 10” JLs under drivers seat. There was a hatch door I removed and sealed up the compartment and added a starboard panel.
