30A to 110 adapter

Make sure you have a heavy-duty/gauge extension cord. The greater the load the thicker the wire. I know we have some electricians on here that can elaborate in more technical terms, but I think you know what I'm talking about.

I made up my boatyard extension cords from industrial 12ga wire, plugs and external waterproof duplex boxes. When I set up my wood shop I put all the tools on rollers and needed to use 220 extensions, so I bought a spool from a local electrical supply, and made heavy duty extensions for the shop, boatyard and the small welders.

The only thing that would worry me about Amazon right now is that I ordered a guitar part that would normally take a week two weeks ago and my delivery date is may 24th since it is nonessential. Another guitar part ordered the same time is estimated april 21st. Again, nonessential.

its been hit and miss for me too.... i have received stuff in a day, and then other stuff in a week. I refuse to buy anything that takes more than week-10 days.... i do without... LOL

I made one for my boat for about $25.00 or so by getting the adapters at Lowes and a foot of heavy 3 wire 6/0 gauge extension cord. Be sure you use the proper extension cord coming from the house something no smaller than 12 gauge and no longer than 50 ft. Another thing is to hook the wires to the adapters in the proper order. pos to pos neg to neg and ground to ground this is very important. It is just like the pigtail except the 120 side is male so you can plug it into the female end of the extension cord

I did the same except I bought a 20ft length of bulk heavy gauge outdoor wire. After wiring the 15amp heavy duty male end and the 30AMP twist lock female end, I sealed both ends where the wire enters the fitting with 5200 sealant so no water can drip down into the ends.

The trick is to order an essential item along with the thing you really want. They will send your whole order. At least it worked for me. My paper shredder died. Amazon said 4 weeks. I place the order anyway. Then I ordered a bag of dog food. Two days later they both arrived.

Look on Amazon - 30 amp to 15 Amp Pig-Tails run about $20. You will only get 15 amps with 110v. But then again -- your really only need it for battery charging - which when you batteries are fully charged will only draw about 2 amps to keep them charged.

yeah i ended up ordering one from amazon. got it a few weeks ago but haven't plugged it in yet

Plugged it in today and it works fine
