RAW WATER STRAINER GASKETS
I cant really identify the manufacturer of the bronze raw water engine intake and A/C strainers. I think they are Perko. I need new gaskets / O-Rings for the top cap where you pull out the mesh strainer. Looks like 3 inch for engine and 2 inch for A/C. Does anyone know the correct part numbers?
Defender (defender.com) usually carries the Perko cork gaskets.

Should be a date code on it. Replace it if you're not sure.

Had an issue today with my BravoIII's. When I hit the trailer button for starboard drive on the top of the throttle assembly the starboard drive comes all the way up to trailer position. When I hit the trailer button for port drive it only comes up to about what I estimate is maybe half way? When I hit the trim button on the left throttle handle, both drives move together.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Sounds like a broken wire on the trim sensor. Both of my drives on the one boat has this issue and the one drive on our other boat, all have the same issue. I'm waiting for a bellows replacement to replace them. I just deal with it until then. If your due for bellows that is the time to replace. The drive needs to come apart to try an access the wires, where they go through the transom.

Thanks. New to us 2004 300DA. We bought it last September and haven't even used it yet. It went right to winter storage. I know it worked when we sea trialed it because we checked all that stuff when it was out of water. Plus the guy who transported it from NJ was a stickler and definitely would've picked up on a half way up drive when he did his pre trip inspection.

Stuff breaking and it hasn't even hit the water yet. I guess that's boating.

Thanks for the insight though.

Btw. I spent a bunch of time yesterday in the engine room, cleaning and just touching and getting familiar with everything down there. Can't remember where I read it, but it scared the s__t out of me. Someone had posted that the ram that raises the engine room access failed when it was in the up position and it came down? I know I read it somewhere but not sure where but it stuck with me. I used my ratcheting cargo bar that I keep in my pickup truck as a safety once the floor was raised to the upmost position. It fit perfectly and just gave me peace of mind. I won't go down there without that thing in place.

I just wanted to pass that along as it worked for me.

Yeah, our drives both worked when we trialed. I pulled it home knowing the bellows needed replaced on both drives. Replaced the bellows on both drives along with bearings. Went through everything but the sensors. Got it all done and the starboard drive wouldn't go up properly or show on the gauge. After looking close, yup! Both wires the insulation was cracked. I should have replaced them. Oh well. I have tape marks on my dock hook and just adjust to the marks.

I'm glad I don't have the hatch actuators. But I still have a neon orange ratchet strap that I tie them open with. When I was working at the composite shop, watched a coworker drop a heavy lid on his hand. Lost the tips of his four fingers when that lip caught them between the drain channel and lid edge. If I'm going to be down in the bilge working for any length of time, I move them completely out of the way and tie them up. It was bad enough when I got stuck under the port engine when i was replacing the starter. Four hours wedged and stuck. Fat guys need to keep their phones close and/or out of the tight bilge. On the bright side, I did get a good nap.

I have 2x4 I keep in the engine room cut and notched to fit the lip and hold the hatch up. I wedge it in there ( when I remember to)

I have a seawater leak on my Cool Fuel 3 fittings.. Ugggh. How difficult is it to get that module out? Thoughts on where to source a new one?

He is still posting on the 300 facepalm page. All of the same questions as here.

For comic relief -- I saw this 2023 brand new 370 DA in the winter storage lot. Twin V-12s which pushes the price over 1 mil before you even add any options
