300 sundancer auto pilot questions

First hello new to CSR. Purchased a 1985 sundancer 300 last fall. getting ready for the upcoming season. would like to add auto pilot. from what I can find for this application (cable steer) would be the simrad AR12 or AR14. has anyone used the simrad systems in this app. or a driffrent system any input would be great. thanks

We ran the sport pilot on our last boat carver bridge boat worked very well. the problem with this boat is it would be right at the limit if not a bit over factory specs for power assist steering. when fishing we run only 1 engine trying to keep hours equal we rotate port and starboard. power steering pump is only on 1 engine. as a result 50% of the operating time would have the unit working way over its specified ability.
