Hi,

The platform on my 2011 300 SLX is integral to the boat - it's not attached, but part of the boat itself. But it sits about 15" above the water surface. I've seen one with an additional platform attached but that was attached to the bottom of the existing platform. So, that boat basically added area to the platform but's substantially at the same height off the water.

Any suggestions? I guess I'm thinking I need a step-down platform, and I'm also thinking all of this is probably more expensive that (I'll think) it's worth.

Thanks!

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish. Are you looking for a swim platform that is lower to the water or a platform that is larger that the integral platform?

I would be looking for a platform that is lower to the water.

Best place to check with is swimplatforms.com. Advertiser here on CSR. Check what designs they already have for your model. If their stock models don't get you what you are looking for they might be able to custom design one. Not cheap, but well worth the investment. They are the best on the market.

I added a swimplatform to our 250 years ago. Got one from swimplatforms.com. Great company. It fit well, was easy to put on while the boat was sitting on its trailer. It is a solid platform and a great addition to our boat. Glad we did it.

I had looked into swimplatforms.com, and they seem like a great company. I'm just looking for other options, as I assume the new platform would have to pretty much attach to the bottom of the existing platform, and I'm not sure that design would be very good for me. And maybe I just leave the boat as is, too.
