Hi All,

Moving off a mooring to a slip for the first time with my 2007 SunSport 290. Does anyone know if I should be connecting to shore power with 30 am for 50 amp? Have 120v breaker.

This stuff is mostly foreign language to me.

Thanks,

SLS

Do you know what shore line cables came with the boat? You may have a couple of 30A ones that would connect to two 30A receptacles.

I would also think30 amp cords

Thank you.

I have no idea what came with the boat -- but the marina provides cables.

The 30 amp and 50 amp cords have different ends on them, so you are going to use whichever fits in the receptacle that you have on the boat now. My bet would be 30 amp. I would be shocked if it was a 50 amp. That would be overkill for that boat.

My 280 has a single 30 amp.

Can you get a look at the plug ends? As others have said, almost guaranteed to be 30amp.
