...is how long it took for my son to finally hit me in the nuts. He beat the other two kid's first times by a whole 2 or 3 years each.

He really likes being Spiderman, and now knows the power of the foot into crotch. I will be tucking up during our play fighting for now on. :smt119

But its a moment you'll treasure for ever.

You're lucky, my first shot was 2 years 5 months :smt013 I wanted to throw up on his head for revenge!

Growing up in Northern California, I was a moderately accomplished tennis player (good enough several years later to receive a D-1 Big-10 scholarship). At 13 yo, I was nearly six feet tall, had a serve/volley big forehand power game, and was traveling for tournaments. My father had been a college player, and kept his game up. We traveled to So-Cal for a State tournament, and spent a few days in advance visiting with family friends who owned a court. It was a fast hard surface, and dusty too from lack of use! I was serving to Dad during a practice session and smoked one into the body. He tried to block it, to no avail as it slid on the dust and continued accelerating into his "nuts". He tried jumping out of the way too, but he landed on his chin, splitting it open, after the ball hit him hard! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but neither of us have ever forgotten! :smt021

You guys are funny. I have two girls. Don't remember it happening yet, except metaphorically - and lots of that. I do remember jumping onto my parents bed when my dad was under the covers. He curled up for an hour or so.

I do not remember how many years and months it was, but it was in early grade school when I took my first hoof to the ole ball sack. It did not take me long to see the potential in utilizing this great playing field leveller. I was no longer intimidated by the big bullies in our tough neighbourhood. As time went by and I got pretty handy with the dukes, I was able to dispense with this dirty way of fighting. As I recall, it did take them off guard for a while because they were too preoccupied with protecting the family jewels that they did not see the k.o. punch coming. After growing up & having a few kids, I finally did get fighting out of my system. Funny thing though, a guy can never quite forget the agonizing pain that a well placed shot in the nuts feels like. :smt009

My now 8 year old grandson used to head butt you there, did not take long to learn when he came running towards you to cover up, sure glad he grew out of that.

I was at a cookout and only had a bathing suit on when my 4 year old daughter came running over to me saying her uncle was going to throw her in the pool, she was terrified and wasn’t going anywere, she grabbed a hand full and wouldn’t let go. :smt089:smt089

Its funny how any man can understand the pain and wince thinking about it.

We taught my neighbors nephew about head butting when he was like 2. There came a point when you would be carrying him around the house or something and you'd get an unexpected headbutt to the face. NOT FUN! ITs only a toddler hitting you but damn, it hurts when its unexpected. Soon after we had to teach him not to headbutt.

Wow this month has not been very friendly to those guys. The wake of my boat left a lasting impression on them as well if I recall you taking a nice balls first plunge into the water the other day while boarding.

A steel cup would take care of that bad habit.

John, I am not sure it would, that boy is as hardheaded as his biker dad. His dad taught him that kind of stuff and the boy is just like his dad in a lot of ways, build, temperament and looks. He is a good kid most of the time. We went to Lake Griffin with a group from iboats last month and got several compliments on how nice and well behaved they were.

My kids have been relatively gentle compared to some of these stories... :smt101 My boxer on the other hand likes to sit back on his hind legs and well, box! You gotta be quick or he will nail you! 80lbs of pure crazy!
