280DA: What is the part number for the steering cabel

I have to replace the teleflex steering cable on my 280DA with twin 4.3s. Does anyone have a partnumber and can tell me which teleflex cabel that I need? I have found the product in the Sea ray part list, but that does not translate to a product over here.

Not sure if it would be the same for you.. but for mine the number was on the cable itself.

Thanks for that realy quick response! And I think you are right that it is printet on the cable itself. I have however tried to find the number with the cabel still installed in the boat with no luck. The cable is still in the boat since it is in regular use, and I would like to have the new cabel in my hand before I remove the old one.

I don't have my owner's manual handy. Have you looked in the parts manual section of the owner's manual? Also is your 280 the US badged 280, or the European 305(?)?

You can download the manuals from sea Ray if you don't have them in hard copy.

The boat is the US 280. it was also called a 280 i Europe in 2001. I think it was renamed in Europe in 2002 as the 315.

As for the parts manual, I do have this, and also the partnumber. Are you saying that this is a Teleflex part number?
