280da Newbie with drive/trailer button questions

hi all
First time owner of. 2004 sundancer 280 twin. Have a question on the two buttons on the port throttle. Pushng them foward brings my drives up and pushing them backwards brings my drives down? And are the gauges under the oil psi what indicate their position? Or are these gauges for the trim tabs? Also there is a trailer up button. Does this do the same thing to bring the drives up but does both at one time? And to bring them down i use the throttle buttons?

trim gauge shows where the drives are. Trailer button will bring both drives up all the way into the trailer position which is further than your trim switches will go. Never run the motor while in trailer position, it could damage the U joints on the drives.
