280DA is now mine!!!

I am proud to announce that I am the new owner of a 2005 280DA!! :grin::smt001:grin:

I picked her up Yesterday (Saturday) on the trip from Stamford, CT to my new port in Patchogue, Long Island. It was a little stressful on account of a new boat bigger (we’re not in a 185 sport :wow and me not being too familiar with the waters on the North side of the island...ohhh yeh I had some weather - the FOG rolled in.
The early leg of the trip was great – CT out to LI Sound - Hells Gate – Manhattan – stopped for fuel. Then I set out into the ocean – my visibility was terrible :smt101 - maybe 100 yards - some rain, but the Radar / GPS brought me through everything without a problem.

Despite the weather conditions the first voyage was a tremendous success!

Congrats...! They have a very strong following and are rock-solid as far as safety and performance. The 280 is the unofficial title holder for having the longest production run for Sea Ray in the cruisers segment. Let's of great info on this board about your boat. Enjoy.
