270 SLX - Where To Store A Small Toolbox

I use a soft bag and store it in the storage area under the driver console.

The reason I went with a soft bag vs an organized kit - I added some additional items such as electrical tape, wire ties, silicone adhesive, spare light bulbs and fuses, spare hose clamps, a few sizes of hose plugs, cheap multimeter.

Ah good thought on a soft bag but what about rattle noise? I was thinking about a something cheap from Wally World... like this:

Thought being that plastic case will not cause any damage plus the benefit of less tool rattle.

The bags are quiet, but if you want a kit, this might be up your alley:

Probably much better quality.

I have a 170+ piece Craftsman tool kit that I keep under the hatch. I also have a smaller plastic utility box that stores various pliers, tape, fasteners, zip ties, etc. that I keep in the storage area in front of the helm. Also keep a very sharp knife stored in the glove box in the head door.

I have a small plastic storage box with lid that I use to keep tools and odds and ends in. That box stays in the compartment ahead of the helm. I've never had any issues with vibration.
