I disagree that towing a 260 is any easier than a 280. When you get that large they both require equal attention. Whatever you do please consider getting the generator for lots of reasons. As for Frank's suggestion, you owe it to yourself to give it due thought as a new 300DA is only $150K, 310DA is $180 and 320DA is $180 all nicely optioned - used is even better. You really can't go wrong regardless of your choice but your total enjoyment and TCO will be very different depending on which one you go with (IMHO). All things being equal, go for the 280 you'll be glad you did.
