260 Sundancer Privacy Curtain for mid cabin

I thought I read that this is included, but it isn't on mine (2007). Not a critical item, but just curious. I guess I can add one with velcro or similar if the little girls want to "close" the cabin.

Hey Esteban - The mid-berth privacy curtain is standard equipment on the '07 260DA and you should absolutely have your dealer make good on it :smt001

Looking at some photos on YachtWorld, I have a different access to the mid cabin.

On all the photos I see on YW, the steps are carpeted and provide a wall for the mid cabin. There is a curtain for the opening to the right of the steps (looking aft).

On mine, the steps are open to the mid cabin and there is no curtain, which I guess makes sense since why put a curtain on the opening since the steps are open to the cabin anyway.

I may still improvise something with two curtains, one for the large opening and one for the area behind the steps.

Another difference is that my trash can is under the galley sink and not in the steps. The bottom step does have an access for the sump pump.

Look at the ceiling of the midcabin where you enter it and if you see a grooved channel, it is for the privacy curtain to slide on. Even though the entranceway is slightly different on the 2007 models because of the open stairs, there should be a privacy curtain as far as I know. And if you look at Sea Ray's web site, a privacy curtain is listed as standard equipment on the 2007 models.

Interesting. My new 240 is also missing the privacy curtain and it's listed on the website as a standard item.
