260 DA Storage

Day 3 with the new boat and what a difference in storage vs. my 245 Weekender. The 260 doesn't have half the storage as my other boat. I didn't think of this when I was looking not that would have made me think twice about buying it.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

Also any ideas on a small TV/DVD combo? The boat came with one but it looked beat up and ready for an upgrade. What's the largest you can put on top of the microwave unit?

What year is your 260DA? I never owned a 245 Weekender but I find the storage very good in my 260DA. If you own a 2004 or prior 260DA, you have no underseat storage in the cockpit but on a 2005 and up they have storage under the seats. And certainly the cabin and mid cabin areas and other storage areas are greater than on the 245 aren't they?

Hey Dave,

I have a 2004. On my 245 Weekender I had the full storage unit in the cockpit (where the aft cabin would be normally). I could literally jump down in it! Also there were deep gunwhale storage areas that we could put stuff in.

We put a 15" Toshiba (with DVD built in) on the shelf above the microwave. Fits perfectly.
