240 SD?? Hurts just looking at it.

Thanks for the laugh, Gnealon. I try to laugh at my mistakes, too. But it takes some character to encourage others to laugh at our own mistakes. I'd have a beer with you any time.

Cheers keokie, I'm game anytime as well! Given the pic in your avatar(sp?), you are no where NEAR NY. haha

Guys, don't go so hard on the him. He was probably on plane cruising at night. Its actually pretty easy to do. Don't ask me how i know that!

on plane at night? don't think that's good advice.

Red Dirt means this is an Inland Southern Lake suffering from low water caused by the drought (you won't find red dirt at low tide on ocean waters as far as I know.

And he drove it up there. :smt100 I just looked at the picture at 400 percent magnification and the whole bottom of the boat and the lower unit is caked with red dirt.

Looks like they tried to take a shortcut to the house. Decided to walk!

Could be a photo of one of many boats standed when Lake Delevan in WI drained last year.....

I am just thankful its not me...boat looked suspiciously similar. I hope the captains aren't.

Maybe he blinded himself turning on his spot light at night

Unless is covered in blood from his ejected family....

Uh, please post a picture of your starboard side hull and of the bottom of your skeg. GA has red dirt doesn't it?

When was the last time you changed your impeller?

As a Georgia native, I've never heard of Georgia having red dirt...red clay, however, is a different animal. We have that in abundance.

My lawyer says you can only see the skeg and hull with a warrant. Sorry. I'd help you out if it were up to me!

if the tide went down or they drained a lake, you would expect to see a mooring block, or dock nearby. who knows...

Ok, who thinks this is a 240SD. Sure hope they did not run it aground. Looks like it might have got stuck as the tide went out?

Scary! This looks just like my boat! I vote for the James Bond move gone wrong as it looks like the bottom is all scraped to hell at the bow.

Makes my stomach turn!:smt089:smt100

The newer 240 DA's don't have the bolted on swim platform.

Definitely not a Dancer -- it's a Sundeck. You can tell from grab handle above the platform. The DA does not have that.
