So am I the only one who has purchased one of these? I love the boat, only ssue I am having is working thru the stereo system and the big touch screen display. I am missing half the manuals and of course they stop at model year 2015 on the website.

Joystick is amazing and very simple to use. The inboard is nice and with the way the exhaust is routed on this boat it sounds amazing. 123_1001.jpeg

I was lucky enough to buy the actual demo boat from Sea Ray, used in sales videos and pictures. The boat in this link is the one that I now own:

The last 4 of the serial number (not HIN) is 3001 so it may be the first one produced?

That joystick makes ALL the difference in controlling a single engine inboard! It's almost like cheating... actually, it is EXACTLY like cheating! Without that, turning in reverse is near impossible.

If you bought it new, and never got them, check with your dealer, first. If you bought it used, check with them as well - I believe the 230SLX-W specific manual is only about $30.

It is new, or sold to me as new since it came straight from Sea Ray. I bought it from a dealer in Md and the $ I saved was worth the 6 hr drive. My local dealer is not being very friendly to me on anything regarding the boat since I did not buy it from them. Just the "yeah, we will try and fit you in" typical run around.

I thought I recognized the color scheme!

Although I don't know if the 230SLX-W model-specific manual will answer all of your questions, maybe it would be worthwhile to stop in and ask to buy one (in person would be best). Sort of an "olive-branch" of sorts. Then you would be an official "paying" customer of their's, so to say. Walk in happy, excited to talk about your boat and "I'm looking forward to establishing a long-lasting relationship", blah, blah, blah - you get the idea. I do know it can sometimes be tough to take on new customers if they're absolutely swamped with current customers to begin with - meaning, sometimes places don't physically have the time for new customers as it's all they can to keep up with existing customers. Or, if they did, they could be a month out. BUT, I'm not saying any of this to make excuses for anyone.

Yeah I did all that. I had them quote me one before I committed to buying this one. They couldn't match the price and when I told them them how far off they were they seemed shocked. I think Sea Ray had something to do with the pricing on this boat since it was their demo.

Can the dealer you bought it from not provide the manuals? Or maybe a call directly to SeaRay? Regardless of how good of a deal you got our where you bought it, the didn't give it to you I am sure it was still a lot of $$. And it was not a used boat, they owe you the manuals. I have called SeaRay directly about things on my boat - and even for my old boat they were very responsive.

I have the actual owners manual. Original dealer got that and Sea Ray also emailed me one. What I am missing is the manual for the touch screen display. The manual specifically references one. Local dealer doesn't know and Sea Ray says that they don't have either. There has to be one since the entire boat is controlled by it. I emailed the mfg (Medallion) for info but got no response.
