The sink faucet should pivot to adjust the spray.
I am crying inside
Just crawled into my boat last weekend. GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!
Looking for suggestions for a cover that will fit a 220SD with tower. Any reviews of valet storage at Lake Conroe, TX? I like Lakeside Landing, but pretty narrow storage (10x30). I went to Inland Marine yesterday and not a soul in sight... Thanks for any comments/suggestions!
If money is no object, go with the Great Lakes full mooring cover (Sunbrella). Cost I would estimate at $1100.
I got the top of the line West Marine generic cover (actually made for a cuddy cabin 22-24 feet) and it works.
Anyone with a 220SD know the best length transom tie down straps to use? 2 or 4 footers? '03 Boat will be on an ACE bunk trailer (if that matters). I don't have my trailer yet (on order) and want to get my straps ahead of time. Thanks in advance!
I haven't measured mine, but they are closer to 4 ft than 2 ft. Better to have them a bit long and adjust them down than too short. When my boat is off the trailer, my straps are long enough that I can put the boat hooks together in the middle, and they still span the width of the trailer.
Thank you Jeepguy.
I haven't seen any posts of a 2014 220 Sundeck outboard, so let me be the first! I launched last weekend and I'm going out again tomorrow!
My bimini top bracket broke on my first drive home and my speedo doesn't work. But, hey welcome to boaterhood right?! I'm loving it! And so is my dog!
I'm close to buying a 2010 220 with a pump out head and I can't find the water reservoir to fill. Where is this? The toilet has two hoses coming out the back so one must bring water from somewhere? Many thanks
I believe one hose is for the pump out and the other is a vent hose. IIRC on my 240 the water was added to the head itself. ( in fact we just pulled the sink faucet over to fill and flush with. )
I have to add my own water to flush?!
Well I may have made an assumption.. I had in mind this was your head
Another question for my new to me 220... I'm looking at a full canvas cover from Great Lakes Boat Top. Do I want the waterproof material or resistant? It will be outside on a lift uncovered (except the canvas) all year in Seattle, with a bunch of run. Not sure about mildew (I may put some sort of golden rod heater etc. and a fan) but want to minimize mildew and keep the boat dry and protected. Many thanks
I got my cover from Overtons. It was a custom fit made from Sunbrella. They have patterns for your boat. The fit is excellent, I even trailer it, and it was a LOT cheaper then Great Lakes. $500 or so with the 15% off sale they run every other month. I have had it stored outside in the rain and snow for 4 years, with no trouble.
Sunbrella breaths a bit, but doesn't let the rain drip through Even if snow weight makes a dip that puddles, it doesn't drain into the boat. The big problem with the plastic waterproof is condensation. You need to let it breath, or totally shrink wrap it with some with a bucket of that stay dry stuff in there.
Great looking boat!
Where is a good place to mount a fire extinguisher? 2010
Who made the waketower racks for SeaRay on a 2010 220 Sundeck?

I dont anything about towers but we picked up our 220SD at the end of the 2013 season. It was an awesome boat for last year and we are itching to get back on it. This is my third boat and by far a world above the other two.
