Hi lets dust of this ol board and see if there are any sundeck owners out there. Pictures, questions comments. I am on my 3rd season with mine and enjoy it.

Hi Richard:

Good to see you over here and thanks for the email with the board location. I have had my 2003 220 Sundeck for almost 4 years and love it. Being a female owner, it has been a perfect size for me. I use it in Northern California lakes and trailer it occasionally to Lake Havasu, Az. It is my fifth boat and is the best one so far!

I went to an in water boat show last weekend and noticed that the 2007 model SDs have Captain Kirk chairs for the pilot and co-pilot (high back rest with very low armrests). They are actually very comfortable, but it would be nice if they raised the armrests a few inches.

Hi L J. Good to see you here.

Ok my two clowning around friends. You know those chairs look like something out of a 60's star trek show. :smt017

I am so glad I got the last decent looking Sundeck out there.

I have an 06 200 Sundeck and I love it. I thought I was going to be the first on in the family to try to upgrade but my wife jumped into the ring with the mention of a 290 Dancer. I think we will keep her for another year or two and decide where we will tie her up. We are leaning more to the St Croix river as that is where we love to be.

Hey all....Just checking in from the Seattle area. We just bought our '06 Sundeck 220 a few weeks ago! We've only been able to get it out on the water once since we bought it, for an hour or so. That seriously is not cool.

What a boat! It's light years above and beyond the Bayliner 205 we had previously. We can't wait to get it out full-time in the spring. It's supposed to be 60 and partly sunny this Saturday and if that forecast holds up, we'll for sure be on Lake Washington

We've had our 220 sundeck since Nov 2004 and it's been near perfect for the type of boating we enjoy. I've trailered the boat to some great North Carolina lakes and the intercoastal waterway using my Cummins powered Dodge Ram 2500.

I was hoping to do a lot more boating this past Summer, but it was too HOT this year in the Carolinas. I bet it was even worse in Florida and Georgia.

whewwwww....glad I found this site! I was getting a lil panicky as I had come to rely on my fellow SR'ers for advice and security.

This is our first boat and.. well... after 125 hours this first summe, I think we like it.

And I love the new chairs and the front armrests especailly in the bow. Don't think its enough tho to convince me to trade in yet. ( altho I do wish I had the front ladder opening on the '07!!)

oops...didnt see the 240 thread...just saw fmailiar faces :smt001

I was wondering why you posted it in the 220 thread? I thought you had 240, I was afraid you had traded it for a 220. Do you like the new style captain chairs in the 07? I do not like them, did not have any type of arm rest on them and seemed to be too straight backed for me. IMHO.

We have a 2005 220 and the last 2 seasons were great. Its small enough for the local lake and large enough for Lake Michigan.

Hey Richard your Full Camper Canvas looks good

Stihl,
I have been contemplating the camper, how much will that thing set me back if you don't mind me asking. If you don't care to say you can just tell me "alot".

Thanks

I posted the price on the mods picture. The 2 sides and back panel cost me $900.00. The three front pieces were given to me by the dealership for a credit of $525.00 on a foobar they did when we initially purchased the boat. But at that time, 04; the dealership wanted a additional $1800 for the 2 sides and back. If your boat is at least 2 years old, most definitely purchase the canvas direct from great lakes direct, it will save you bunch of money.

I like the canvas, it takes a little getting used to when you've been used to a open top, but makes the boating a lot warmer on cool days.

Hey Richard, that canvas does look good.
