Hi Everyone. Having trouble locating a fix or replacement for stock Shurflo fresh water pump on my 2006 220 Sundeck. I removed the unit and did some testing. Seems the motor is fried and doesn't turn, even with 12v directly applied. The diaphragms look clean. I guess I could just replace the motor element, but I don't want to get too complicated. These pumps are not tons of money.

I'm think it is easiest just to replace it outright, but after exhaustive web-searching, I come up empty. For obvious reasons, I'd rather avoid direct purchase from Sea Ray stealer. That's just me.

The stock unit is rated at 1.6gpm. I see lots of units out there for sale rated at ~3gpm. I'm assuming I should not double the pressure, as this will make using the rear sink a real blast! Additional pressure sounds like a great idea, however, for the front and rear wash down hoses. I guess I might pop a connection somewhere if pressure is too high though.

Any suggestions or help on how to proceed is appreciated.

Cheers,
John

Just get the new 3+-gpm unit and be done with it. That is what I used on the 2006-240SD when it went bad.

john; i think you are a bit confused here.

you are doubling your flow rate not the psi. the pressure will stay about the same and if you know what you have now, these pumps are adjustable for psi.

as above the 3 gam is fine
