215EC and 215WE weight and seats..

my 215EC is very similar to the 215WE model, however the 215WE weighs approximately 1,000 lbs (dry weight) more than my 215EC...does anyone know the reason for the difference in the weight?

also, my 215EC helm seats do not have a bolster pad...i read in the specs for the 215WE that their helm seats do have flip up bolster pads...does anyone know if the helm seats in the 215EC and 215WE are interchangable?....if not does anyone know a way to add bolster pads to my 215EC seats?

I wanted to replace the helm seat on my 2000 215EC. These seats are no longer available from sea ray.
