When towing my boat down the highway, I notice my rear bench seat will open sometimes. Any ideas on how to fix this? I have already lost some gear that was stored there.

Slow down? (sorry)

I used to have that problem with an older Wellcraft we had. There should be a pin and socket fitting that helps the cover stay closed, a big rubber socket that the hatch catches on. Check that it isn't cracked or otherwise worn out. Otherwise, you may have to use straps for the highway or install a latch. just make sure you protect your vinyl from straps rubbing.

Thanks. I will look for the rubber socket. I do not want to do straps, but I was leaning towards a latch.
