I want to change the head faucet on my 2018 sdx 270. I thought it came with a single knob faucet but it came with a sprayer faucet in case you use the head as a shower. We won’t... I believe the blue plastic water line is standard size pex tubing but want to verify since my 2007 Maxum used 15mm tubing not standard pex.

So, the tubing installed for waterlines normal sized and fittings from Lowe’s or Home Depot readily available to fit?

The single knob faucet, I believe, was part of the head upgrade (or maybe available as a stand-a-lone option... not sure). Regardless... in the past, it could have been either 15mm or 1/2", depending on the boat and which plant it was made in. However, the trend has been to use 1/2", now. I'm 99% sure it's 1/2" in your boat - if you want to double check, it should be listed in your parts manual.

Thanks. I have not located a parts manual for my boat yet. I have the owners manual. Do you know of an online version for the parts manual?

There are parts manuals available on SR's site - it's on the same page as the owner's manuals. But with whatever happened a little while ago on their site, in regards to losing data, I don't think they have all of them back up and running/listed. Not sure if yours is there, or not. I haven't looked closely in owner's packs, lately - SR used to provide a parts manual - I take it they no longer do?

I just checked my online parts "fische"... it does list 1/2" for your boat.

They do not supply a parts manual at delivery any longer, and their website doesn’t list one yet. Thanks for looking it up, I can order a faucet now and know I will find fittings to connect it up.

Dennis - could you look in your Fische and see if it says what this fitting is? This is the one under the head sink that I would need to connect the new faucet to. The Scandvik catalog lists their sprayers as bsp and nps fittings, but I am hopeful this is a standard barb to npt.

Looks like 3/4 GHT (not NPT).

Isn't MPT just another acronym for Male NPT hence MPT? Same thing, correct, just a sub-type?

You can get all those fittings from your plumbing supply house and even Lowes or Home depot, supply house has more selection and almost all faucet hose fittings are standard pipe thread.

I corrected my post... I meant GHT. GHT is for hose bibs. That's what it appeared to me anyway.

Parts fische shows something different than you have there, in terms of the fittings. Or, at least, it's not showing the connection between the PEX and the shower hose. There may have been a mid-model year change where your setup is slightly different than the fiche.

That chrome fitting looks like it is the type that would have a rubber washer to make the seal. Maybe you'll get lucky and the other end of that chrome hose will fit the new faucet?

It should, that should be the standard end on stainless flex lines for faucets and toilets and you can get then with the same other end or different at your local plumbing house. Been changing all my lines and fittings in my 290 to standard items so it a lot easier fixing if something breaks or leaks and it will sooner or later. Haven't found too many odd ball fitting.

I think you will find the hose female swivel fitting to be IPS (Iron Pipe Straight) or NPS (National Pipe Straight) which is a straight thread and requires a sealing gasket. IPS and NPS are the same thread configuration.
There is also NPT (National Pipe Taper) which is a tapered thread and requires a thread sealant such as Teflon tape.
IPS, NPS, and NPT use the same thread angle and shape and will thread together but NPT to IPS or NPT to NPS will not seal.
So, that fitting would be an Male IPS to Hose barb adapter.
I have taken a NPT male and flat-filed the end so it has a sealing surface for the gasket of a IPS/NPS female fitting and that works.

I pulled the sprayer today in anticipation of the new faucet arriving soon. The chrome flex line does have a gasket to the barbed brass pex fitting, so I am hopeful a standard 1/2" pre-made stainless braid water supply line will make the connection from the boat to the new faucet.

New faucet and fitting on the boat are both 1/2” MIP fittings, and a standard faucet supply line 1/2” FIP to 1/2” FIP fits. In addition, the 8’ flex line that was installed for the sprayer could actually be used as well. Turns out it was a 5 minute project and needed a $4 supply line.
