2014 SeaRay Sundancer 260 Bow Thruster question

looking at buying a 260 2014 sundancer. During sea trial the bow thruster would not engage. It would beep for several seconds and then go off. sales guy suggested that the battery was weak and need charging. We could not locate the battery, as I don't think it has a dedicated battery. But later I got a call when he plugged in the shore power that the bow thruster was working fine and just needed charging?
thoughts? Is there a dedicated battery for bow thruster in this model? OR is the main battery low and just needed charging. Boat has been stored on the hard winterized for some time.

Sorry don't know the answer to your question ......

But add batteries to your list for them to confirm good with % life left before buying.

At 4 years old the batteries should be about used up and they can run you a few $$$ apiece.

If it is a Vetus, while it is beeping as you describe, you press the button again and it will engage. There definitely should be a separate battery for it.
