The weather was not so great, but we all had a great time at our first raft up of 2013.

We have an annual get together in Muscamoot bay. This is from a previous year.

Those large raft ups look intimidating! We just don't have that many friends. Are the big raft ups just a day thing or do they overnight with that many boats?

3 is fun for us.

We stay out for 3 or 4 days when we can. The Circle starts on Thursday with 4 sections, closes to a circle on Saturday and breaks up on Monday.

Raft-Off Day in the Moot! :)

The other raft shots in this thread are very cool, but this shows what is so unique and amazing about the Lake St. Clair Flats... Miles of sandy bottom, 3 to 4' deep water.

In this photo, there are more people than boats. All standing in waist deep water, inside that over a mile long gauntlet of boats. :)

All standing in waist deep water bringing up the temperature? That's a lot of boats but I prefer a more organized lineup. Line thos eboats up using some stern anchors and that group would look absolutely amazing!

How do you get out? It appears there are lines across the opening.

That is for dinghy and pump out boat access only. Once the circle is closed you are not able to leave until the team breaks you out.
