Those of us that were able to attend the 2012 Sea Ray Homecoming last September in Knoxville were rewarded with a look at Sea Ray's latest products, future products and hospitality. Additionally, we were able to put a lot of faces to the screen names (we even had a W!ngless impersonator - Thanks Mike - Priceless). I think AMFM3 held the record for the longest commute - From BC.

Has anyone heard if Sea Ray is planning a similar homecoming function for this Fall? Searaycorporate? Inquiring minds and all that...

It was showcasing the 2013 models though a red resto stole the show...

Well, they haven't cancelled Dealer Week which is what we tagged along on the end of to have Homecoming, so I would like to think that Sea Ray management might consider a similar event again this year.

I think it is 2nd or 3rd week of Sept. Also, it will not be in TN this year. I think we probably would have heard something from them by now if there were plans for another Homecoming. Maybe we can get something worked out with them for next Year. Only other event I know of is the Yacht Expo in FL but that is by invitation only and more of a sales event for those seriously looking to buy.

Hey all -- we really enjoyed the Homecoming Event too, and there's broad recognition that CSR was the driving force behind it. Based on how successful the last event was, we'd love to have another event here in Knoxville. In fact, we actually drew up an invitation to "The Tellico Show" for the next Homecoming. We're trying to figure out some logistical hurdles to see if we can do it this year. It's overwhelmingly likely in CY2014 but kind of a long shot for this year. If we can pull it off this year, it would be right at the end of September/first of October time frame. Our Tellico plant is in the long term process of adding the types of docks and facilities that help make an event like this possible. -- Matt

If it waits till 2014 maybe I can get another show stopping restoration done to bring
just gotta find a good core to start with now....

It sure was a great time. Great boats, even better company. Some great new friends were made on that trip!

Looking forward to hanging with Rusty (aka Mr Sea Ray) at the home coming.

Just as a matter of record, I wanted to meet Mike at the first Homecoming, aka Turtle, but he was otherwise occupied. (Sadly so.) Do you look like your picture? So many people use "glamour shots" for their avitar. Hope we can all get together soon.

Jim - if it's half as beautiful as your last one, it will be worth the trip!

Wrll let us know if it does pan out. It is just around the corner and we'd likely be there by water again (if allowed of course). We love the less crowded and far smoother Tellico Lake.

We could just pick a date and all show up at their door. Maybe drag a BBQ smoker and a keg, set up in the parking lot and have our own Homecoming#2.
