Hoping someone has prior experience with this: ac/ heat seem to work fine, however when I put it in dehumidifier mode, code 4U flashes and system shuts down.
Factory ac system, not aftermarket.
Thanks

Not sure, didn't have my glasses on to see it all....lol. I'll look it up next week. Weather here in jersey is pretty crappy, rain....rain...rain...no fun.

Ok, my bad. I put on my reading glasses and took a closer look at the control panel and problem. Sucks getting old and I need to get my eyes checked I suppose. The 4U is actually HU, meaning it's in dehumidifier mode. So, all is well.

Thanks tho!

Good to hear. Here's a trouble shooting guide if you do get errors on your screen.

If you have the owners manual for your unit there are plenty of hidden features to customize how the units operate.

Unfortunately no owners manual with boat, but I'll double check all the cabinets and drawers, only been on the boat for a total of 6 days, cleaning and going over things mostly.
Thanks for the PDFs file....printing and saving for reading when I get on the boat this weekend

Once you see what kind of control panel you have...... most have a factory rest feature. I would do that to clear out any programming from the previous owner and then you can start off with a clean slate so to speak and set the system up like you like it. For the HU settings you can go in and change the fan and cycle duration if you find the factory pre-set settings are not doing it for you.

As you can see in my signature line I've had to collect my manuals as well. If you can't find a certain manual please post up and folks on here can help you out. Engine manuals were pretty easy to find searching with the S/N off the cover.

Good luck and happy boating.
