2012 Rendezvous--Coastal Carolinas Club Sea Ray Members

Your the man Sadler! My drive is ready for paint. I'll be on the water this weekend, Lake Norman.

Marina hopping sounds good to me. You picked 5 great marinas too! Now, lets see who chimes in. We know who will!

Yep that was a neat video, wish I was there...
Sorry to hear about the "stuff", but like you said nobody was hurt and it will be a great story in couple years (Grin)

That's suxs for you guys. We we planning to head South to Myrtle Beach this weekend, but maybe we will head north instead. Hope you guys get back in the water soon. Let me know about the Marina hop. I may be able to make the trip.

Oh do post dates as it firms up...looking for a trailer now to make it more cost effective for us to join you guys.....will eagerly be awaiting for mike to organize a CBers trip to the Bahamas.

I wish I could have made the trip, but work got in the way. I was able to get my boat in the water and running. As I went out of Cricket Cove I saw TurtlesBoat at the fuel dock. Sounds like you all had fun.

I'm glad you got your boat in the water and running. Hope you can join us on another outing.

Robb and Stacy and Ken--great to meet all of you. It was a great time together. Let's do it again ASAP! Ken, it is hard to be down in the LBC! I'll send you the link to the SYD. :)

We traveled 330 miles on this trip. Sometimes things happen; it's inevitable on these outings. I was in 14' of water in the middle of the ICW and whatever I hit was invisible. If you want to "preserve" your boat, it's definitely not for you. :)

Got a new 22p front prop from local prop shop today for $130 and he also straightened my back prop. I cleaned boat up from the trip, mounted the props, and I'm back on the water as I type this anchored in Cton Harbor off Fort Johnson doing a check out. I'm already ready for the next trip Mike. Maybe we marina hop this time. Bohicket, Edisto, Dataw, Beaufort, then Hilton Head in April?

I'll try to post some videos and pics.
I'll be at the house in Beaufort, SC all next week. If your doing your hop then, let me know and I'll toss the 175 in the water and meet up with you anywhere along that route. Otherwise, enjoy.

Hey that would be great. Right now, looks like the trip will be in mid to late May, but I'll you give a heads up here when the dates are firm. We're discussing on CB now.

It sound like it hard to be donw in th NMB for you guys. Let me know whenthe next hop is. I'd love to make the trip down.

Ken, and Ron--the hop looks like it's going to be May 18, but it's still in flux. So, please jump on Carolina Boaters and chime in if you'd like to suggest a different date, or if you'd like to commit to that date. Looks like it's going to Bohicket Marina, Beaufort, SC marina, and Harbor Town Marina at Hilton Head. Really hope ya'll can make it!

Go to Facebook type in Carolina Boaters in the search box and it should take you to us. We also have a group called Carolina Boaters Safety where we discuss safety issues, but the main group is called Carolina Boaters. Or here's the direct link. Just request to join and you'll get approved.

We tried Yahoo! Groups but Yahoo is doing a terrible job supporting groups now so we switched from Yahoo to Facebook; the switch to Facebook was about a year and a half ago.

Haven't checked this thread in a while. Sorry for the later response. Beaufort and Oriental I can do. Belhaven and Washington are out of my reach right now. Not enough time in my schedule. Also, I'm fighting a port engine issue right now. What timeframe are you thinking of?

Not exactly sure on timeframe, sometime this summer, fall. I've never been to the "Sounds" of NC. I really want to visit the towns that do boat buliding, for future reasearch and also explore the towns for neat factor.
I figure if I talk it up there would be some interest and a possible future trip.
