2012 250SLX Error HELP

Greetings,
New to us 2012 250SLX 350 Mag 270 hours total. Picked it up last fall ran it flawlessly a few times. Winterized it put it away. Second trip out this season throws error code “OBD Service Soon” dig a little deeper and find O2 sensor error. Replaced all 4 sensors with factory new. Code did not reset. Disconnected batteries still has error. And now shows a code 20. HELpppp

Sounds like the emission system had an issue and the seller cleared the codes. After running long enough the codes reappeared. This is eleven years old and the catalytic converters may be bad but without having a complete diagnosis there is no way to know. Emission controls on boats are so stupid.

I wonder if there is a way to do a “delete” of the emissions system? Hypothetical question of course as I would never delete a system but a friend of mine did it with his diesel pick up, wonder if it is even possible in these???

Sounds like you are getting into don't say it on the internet territory. Where there is a will there is a way.
