The 2011 boating season has started for us splashing Sandy’s Beach on 3/17. The splash was not without incident though as my raw water pump seized up on the port engine. We replaced it the following day and by the weekend we were ready. Saturday was very windy so I did not feel like messing with that, but on Sunday the wind was down and the Gunpowder was flat. We took her out and blew out all the engine fogging with a good run out to the bay and back, on the way back a stop at Maxwell Point for dinner was in order. All in all a great day and a good start, we can deal with the pump issue, after all she’s a boat!

Bill, take a closeup shot of that bad boy Magma you got there so I can see how you mounted your's. Got a birthday coming next month and I think that's what I'm going to request. Thanks in advance

I will, but I can tell you my boat came with fishing rod holders. I never fish on my boat, no fish guts on it! But it does make for a great way to mount the grill

Same here on the fish guts. How do you like that grill? Those puppies are pretty expensive. Almost as much as a Weber!!!

Glad you are back floating again. We hope to be in another 60 days. Enjoy your season and be safe out there. Awesome vessel btw :)

You Suck!!!!!!

Just kidding of course..Glad you are back in the water. April 11 is the magic day for me, but I did spend some quality time sprawled across my engines replacing my fuel filters and putting all the drain plugs back in. Aside from the garboard drain, she's ready to launch.

I can get you really PO’d! With the several warm sunny days we have had I already have a good start of a suntan!

Good job getting back on the water.

We went out today for about 2.5 hours. Just cruised around to warm up the Cats. That was our fourth trip since 1/1/11. It's always nice to get out even if there's no real destination.

Gee thanks, Bill. The minute you put her in, the weather got cold. Pull her back out so it will warm up!

Hehe...
