So what were your most memorable moments on CSR in 2011?

I would say it was last summer being in Essex, CT and that CSR member getting on here and going off about how he saw "Four Suns" and giving me a rash of sh!t about it... And I responded by showing a picture of him picking his nose as he passed by the back of my boat:

And then he demanded I take the picture of his daughter off the web site.

We will not speak of the "You saw a boat sinking and did nothing about it" thread (sorry Wayne).

Wayne getting married and a cute doggie, Mike.

I personally think we need to come up with some good "top" threads for the year and start a poll on them and see which one wins. I think last year it was a tie between the "Original" Pig thread and Wayne's "Last Post Wins" thread.

This year the one sticks out in my mind is the "Sea Ray SSS 1993 63ft" thread. The thread has surpassed 1000 posts even though the vast majority of the thread has nothing to do with a 1993 63' Sea Ray as the OP ended up with a 540DA instead. It is a thread I have seen going on and on through most of the year and it does have a lot of interesting information and stories in it; it has survived the archives so I nominate it as a contender for that reason.

Lets get some other ideas and have a poll. :smt115

Don't forget the "would it be bad karma" thread.

The how to get a pig on a boat thread was priceless. So many witty replies and hopefully certain people learned to take comments and jokes with a grain of salt. Also, every thread that helped me with the purchase of my 410 and learning about the diesel maintenance!

Yeah... but you missed the antenna straightness thread.

Yeah... but you missed the antenna straightness thread.

I must have and I understand that I probably can't receive a proper signal with them being angled to fit under the shed but somehow seem to get much bett reception than my bridge boat friends since I have 2 slanted antennas. It probably also helps when they are behind me right? They are angled that way so the signal gets to me faster! I should have just replied to your original gripe by saying it looks cooler that way...

Oh boy....here we go.

Oh you all forgot the 7 threads with crappy videos of a "restore job" with electric fans in the bilge .
