We're tentatively planning to be there from July 24 to 31. If we can swing additional time we'll probably add it on the back end. We'll pull out on July 31 and head to Vantage to spend the night and clean the boat in the Columbia River. It's a whole lot easier IN the water than on the trailer!!

Yeah. I really wish that I could be in the middle of a 2 weeker again this year but I am not sure what my Vacation will be at this point. I do have the end of July and first part of Aug targeted though.

So when do you want to meet up? We may be heading to Vancouver Island (west side) sometime early August we think for a couple of weeks as well as hitting Gulf Islands after July 5th... We'll be around...

At this point I think we'll be on the water on July 24. HOWEVER, we might make it as early as the 19th or 20th! Shoot, who knows! We'll keep in touch and as the dates get closer, we'll pin it down! I can't wait!

We're checking things off the preparations list:
Vacation approvals - ck
Passports - ck
100 hr service - ck
canvas repairs - scheduled
Getting the truck ready for the 1700 mile R/T - it's in the shop
Head job on the truck - wasn't on the schedule, $6000 ouches!
Finding out who's joining the flotilla - that's why I'm here right now...
Finding out who's in charge of the flotilla - in progress?
Looking forward to gunkholing, doing marinas, visiting beautiful islands, sipping a frosty one at sunset, and pulling the traps for crab omeletes in the mornin'!
This is hopefully an inspiring form a "bump"

I really wish I could commit to dates right now, but the only thing I really know is from about Jul 29- Aug 2 or 3rd we'll be in the San Juans and Gulf Islands.
Doug (Go Aweigh), Jim (Sundancer) I know have some tenative plans around similar times with a handful of others, but I'll just keep watching this thread and join in if we can and as things get closer hopefully be able to solidify. Either way we'll be out every weekend so stay in touch. It would be great to meet you.

Flotilla leader? Shoot, we're just happy to HAVE a flotilla! We'll put some stuff out on where folks want to go and then go! We're flexible and can change the plans based on weather and things to do. Lots of places to go and see and it's hard to get bored!
Victoria is always a good stop for a couple of nights, Roche Harbor, Friday Harbor and then a whole bunch of islands in between!
