2010 Aquapalooza Signature Event

Unless I missed it, nobody has relayed the info...

The 2010 Aquapalooza Signature Event will be at Lake Travis in Texas. The host dealer is Sail & Ski Center of Lakeway. Congratulations to them! :smt038

It is about a 17 hour drive for me, so I won't be attending. I'm just going to try to hit 1 or 2 of the local events here in TN. Be sure to post plenty of pics for all of us to see!

Feel free to post updates or any other info here!

BTW: If you are thinking of attending and are on the fence. GO! Last year's signature event at Lake Martin, AL was a blast and I wish I could go this year.

checkout the pictures from Lake Martin last year....it was a great day in my boating life. pretty unbelievable to say the least. i wish i could make the commute over there for 2010!!

Amen on Lake Martin's Aquapalooza last year. We have an old, big, historic lake so I was skeptical of the claim that it would be the "biggest party ever" there. I was wrong. It lived up to the hype.

Plus, and this is a big plus, the logistics and security was top notch. Many locals feared it would be a giant headache at best, or a injury zone at worst. But the whole thing was organized very well, and was as safe and secure as possible.

We welcome Aquapalooza to Lake Travis!
If anyone is bringing a larger boat to the even send me a pm. We have the only travelift(s) on the lake and will go our of our way to help any Sea Ray owners get their boats in the water for the event.
If you are a regular established CSR member, send me that pm and I will give you a discounted rate.
We have a big beautiful lake with clear, warm water so it should be a great event!
The Sail and Ski center is a top notch organization (I should know, I worked for them for 11 yrs before opening my place) and we do do lots of coordinated work. We look forward to helping them and all the Aquapalooza participants this summer!
Also if any CSR members are coming, I can help you with suggestions for lodging etc.
Even if you are a long way off, I encourage you to come Lake Travis is a special place.

Actually, I have a new one that I haven't added to the list, a 46 Bertram. I am doing a refit/update on it and have my 500 for sale.
I buy one a year, update it and sell it the following year.
Probably keep the Bertram though, but I have said that before. ;-)

Can you post up your web site or PM me with it. I remember looking at the work you did on the 422 Chris Craft that was awesome... Can't wait to see what you do with the 46 Bertram that is a classic sport fish... Going to fit right in on the lake I am sure!!!!

As Stephen said, no word yet. It is someone different every year (so far), so it won't (probably) be Alan Jackson. Last year, they had 4 or 5 lesser known groups and then AJ headlined. It was awesome. Even not knowing who is headlining, I would advise going. It was a blast! If I were within ~8 hours, I would tow there like I did last year.

Maybe. I know there have been some local events cancelled due to the economy. But there IS a Signature Event scheduled and I hope there will be a local one here.

Yep, not doubt, the signature event will occur. Just the local events may suffer... but if you ask me, you can't be a SR dealer and NOT do Aquapalooza. Bad business, regardless of your personal appeal to Aquapalooza.
