2009 sea ray 270 SLX opinion request

I am getting ready to purchase a 2009 sea ray 270 slx new with a 496 engine. I am trading in a 2007 260da sundancer which i had one year. I absolutly love the look of my 260da , but could not get use to the ride. I run on lake erie and the boat chop and waves rocked my 260da like a rocking chair. Not to mention the severe list I often experienced.

Can anyone comment on their experiences with the 270 select slx; its ride, comfort, power etc?

I'm happy with my ride on the Mississippi River. Happy too with the power and I "only" have the stock 320 HP 6.2. It's all relative. You just have to take the test ride. A smooth ride is a combination of boat weight, boat length and dead rise. I'd be surprised if you find that the bow rider offers a "better" ride than the 360 but, again, its all relative to your experience and expectations.

Thanks so much. I have the 260 da , not a 360 the 260 has an 8.5 beam and high center of gravity. I believe this combination make it very tips in waves and chop.

Hopeing the 270 bow rider is much better.
