2008 44 Sedan Bridge Purchase

Your antenna is crooked.

I know. I was too tired to go back, unbutton the canvas, climb up, straighten it, and then go back for another picture. I'll fix it tomorrow - promise.

Lucky man! I know you will be taking care of her and putting many, many fun filled hours on that beautiful Florida water.

The new 44 looks great. I remember when my Sea lift was new a few years ago. I have add one more large zinc this year to my Sea Lift. You may also need to.
Enjoy

John,

Looks like it's coming along nicelly. I love the new extended platform. The lights installation looks great as well.

What TV mount did you use for bridge TV?

John, looks even better on the water!

Don't mean or want to hijack your thread. But I'm impressed by the Travelift. Think about all of the boat weight being supported by only one cross memeber on the front of the lift. From your pictures, I can see why two can't be used...I'm in awe that it doesn't do the splits! Did I say love your boat.....yeah I did somewhere...enjoy!

It is a Sanus full motion mount from Best Buy. It has two arms, three pivot points, and a ball joint at the tv. Can spin it in any direction - literally. We used the same brand for the salon, but much heavier. That one swings out and is able to pivot 150 degrees to show the 32" tv out back through the glass doors.

HD-7 and radar mount built and installed - antenna straightened. Dinghy also loaded on back.

You may have your new sig pic there!

John

Great pic. I can tell you haven't loaded all your stuff or fuel and water on her yet....she's sitting way too high in the water. Have fun.

Got the custom mount installed yesterday. Hauled the Sat antenna up this morning (not me) and found out that the custom mount didn't consider the placement of the cannon plugs. They are around the inner ring in about a 4" circle. Who would do that? So, you have to hold the 62# antenna inches above it's resting place and screw in 3 cannon plugs? Well, we did, but not until we raised it another 2 1/4" to make up for the length of the cannon plugs and to make up for the fact that they aren't all in the center.

KVH - make a panel to feed them through so we can set the antenna on the base, then hook up the cannon plugs without having to leave a 4" diameter hole in the bottom of the plate. This cost us another 1/2 day. It is a temporary install. We have to get the right stainless bolts to go the whole distance, and seal it all back on. Then, the radar should go right on in front of it on the same mount.

Got the lights wired today, though.
