I just purchased this boat and I was speaking to a friend about the a/c operation and he said I need two shore power cords plugged into it for it to work. I only have one shore power inlet plug on the back ?? Will the a/c work with one cord plugged in or do I need something else ? How many amp cord do I need ?

You only have one 30amp plug in your boat or only one cord? I have a slightly older model, but I have two plugs on the boat. I use one 30amp cord and then have it go to a splitter to plug into each of the receptacles on the boat.

You only need one but when running your AC you need to be sure if other items are running that they will not overload the circuit and trip the breaker. I know when I ran my AC and electric BBQ at the same time it would trip the breaker.

Perfect so a standard marnico 30amp cord will run my a/c when staying overnight at metro beach or other ports as long as other accessories are off?

I am able to run everything off the 30amp, but I do not have the cockpit grille. What a cool feature! I do run AC, Fridge, cockpit freezer, and microwave.
