I own a 2007 sea ray 260. I have intermitant issues with the center gauges. Any ideas? Greg

Which model do you have?

Need a much better description as to what gauges you are talking about and exactly what issues you're having?

Thank you for your help. The center gauge is the trim, fuel, temp and charging. Intermitantly a couple times, the gauges didn't register anything? I took it in twice but the problem persisted and the mechanics didn't know what the problem was. A couple days later, theyv'e worked for a year. 2 days ago, again they apear to have no power. I read on this forum to unplug the grey box behind the gauges for 10 seconds to reset? Thank you again for your concern. Greg

OK, got it.

So on your boat, as you probably know, you have Smartcraft. What this means is that the 4-in-1 gauge is dumb - it just does what the SC gauge tells it to. In other words, it is redundant.

It would be helpful to know if those 4 things are ALSO not showing in the SC gauge as you cycle through. Have you verified that?

Assuming everything is showing in the SC gauge, start by removing and cleaning all connections on the back of the gauges.

Look for this cannon plug behind the dash. Open it, clean with contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease to the terminals and reinstall.

Thank you very much for the help. My friend and I will take a look this weekend. Greg
