Hi, I have a 2007 380 DA with a Clarion CMD4. In the main cabin the fade will not play when i set it to B back. F front plays fine. The helm speakers play then shut down then play over and over again. My question is, is this the receiver issue? Speaker issue or an Amp issue?

The wiring shows a Amp in the diagram, but I can't seem to locate any Amp. It also looks like they have two Amps, one for the cabin and one for the helm.

Also if it is the receiver what can i get to replace it so that I can still use my round remote and speakers

More likely to be fuses and/or amps
My amps are behind the starboard backrest in the aft cabin... well hidden like a secret compartment.
The remote is particular to the brand... you would have to get the same radio series to be compatible.

Can't help with your problem, but my 2006 38 manual shows the amps behind the backrest of the salon couch. I would imagine your 2007 38 would be the same.

My amp is located behind one of the backrests for the salon couch too.

Thanks for the help. It seems like I'm always looking for some hidden secret compartment. I will look into this today and maybe solve one of honey do list.

OK, I looked at the salon couch and can't figure out how to get behind it. Am I just being foolish not being able able to figure this out. I tried looking for some mounting hardware without success. Any help would be greatly appreciated in my quest to fix my stereo.

I have a 420 and was wondering how to get behind the couch to service a defunct bow thruster battery charger. I got so frustrated, I had the Service Dept at my marina handle it. I happened to be at the boat when the Tech came down to install my new charger. I joked with him, as he and I are about the same age, as to how in the hell was he going to get through the cabinet below the electrical panel to reach 5 feet forward and install a new charger?

He grinned at me and said "Like this"....he grabbed the arm rest/side support of the sofa, and just started pulling up! All I heard was tearing and ripping noises, but in actuality, it was just vlecro releasing! The entire arm piece and back simply just lifted up! Easy peasy.

My guess is yours is similar.

Jaybeaux, we don't have armrests on ours, but if I understand you correctly grabbing the bottom of the backrest and pulling it towards you should release the Velcro?

OK, pulled off the seat back and found my Sirius Connect "SIR-CL3" and what I believe is my TV cabinet, up and down controller "Slide Out Room Contrler Low Current" But still no Radio amp.

OK, I located the amp and I am updating this so that if someone else has this problem they know where to look. The stereo amp was found behind the circuit breaker cabinet. You need to remove the door to allow the breaker panel to hinge down. The panel has screws located at the top. Remove them and the entire panel sings down. Both amps are located there the larger one is for the helm and the smaller one is for the cabin
