2006 Sea Ray 175 Sport

I want to upgrade my Clarion M255 to a Clarion M109 so that I can plug in my MP3 player. Does anyone know if the M109 will fit in the same hole and if it is plug and play or will I have to cut a bigger hole and splice wires?

Depends on the wiring harness that the M255 uses. The M109 uses an 18pin connector. I've been looking to replace my M109 because I want iPod connectivity and the M109 has stopped working on my 2007 175.

Same size hole for the receiver but more than likely different connectors so you will probably have to splice the wiring harness. My clarion had the IPOD connection on the back, so I got the extension cable and drilled a hole next to the receiver in the glove box for the USB port.
