I have this input on the side of the cabinet to the left of the main control panel. I plugged my ipod in and it doesnt play. Does anyone know what this is for?

It is not an input, but an output jack for a headset.
It is not an input, but an output jack for a headset. The Clarion radio has auxiliary input jacks (red input jacks on the back of the radio) but Sea Ray did not hook them up for you. You have to pull the radio out to get access to them.
I found the Aux sensitivity setting after playing with the menu button. I changed it from Med to HIGH by turning the volume knob and still don't get any sound. I suspect that the AUX cable coming from the jack is not plugged into the correct RCA jacks on the back of the radio. I'm not sure what it is plugged in to. I'm going to plug one of these into one of the 2 sets of available RCA jacks not being used on the back of the radio. My understanding is that one set of plugs is an output for an amp and the other is an input for AUX. I will have to experiment since I don't know which is which. One set is very short coming out of the back of the radio and the other set is part of the wire cluster.
If that works, then I know that the issue is between the jack and the radio.
This is the installation manual for the unit:

I believe the aux input are the 2 wires that are both red coming out of the back of the unit. I had to stick my camera in to take this picture since I couldnt see them, just feel them. They were capped, but I took the caps off.
when I bought my boat the i pod did not work so my son in law computer engineer searched on line and found out that all 32s in 07 hooked the i pod wires wrong and they give a digram on which colors to switch. With that being said and 6 hrs later removing the breaker panel unhooking wire harness you could only feelwith your hand and see with a mirror we switched the wires.
They were all wired wrong. Had to pull my head unit and the power line pulled lose from the connecting harness on the head unit. 3 hours later had the ipod connector hooked up as listed above.
Does anyone know the years this affected. My cousin just bought a used '05 320DA and I want to let him know about it.
